Admission profile
People interested in entering the Law Degree of the Inter-American Academy of Human Rights should preferably have knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that reflect analytical and critical thinking; listen carefully and active; logical and clear expression of ideas; social and humanist vocation; respect for Human Rights and for vulnerable populations; and aptitude for collaborative work and initiative to develop and participate in academic and cultural projects.
The foregoing in order to have better opportunities to develop as critical, humanist, internationalist, trilingual, multicultural and respectful of Human Rights jurists.
Graduate Profile
The graduates of the program will be people with a comprehensive education that allows them to fully exercise the legal profession with a deep sense of responsibility and social commitment at the local, national, regional and international levels.
They will have the appropriate tools to express themselves correctly orally and in writing based on logical reasoning that allows them to build effective arguments, being able to propose coherent and innovative solutions to various legal problems.
Likewise, they will have a solid education in human rights, which prepares them to be empathetic, supportive and active in situations involving vulnerable populations with the purpose of collaborating in the consolidation of inclusive, non-discriminatory, democratic and respectful societies with diversity.
